At the Y, we are always taking steps to be a local resource for wellness, youth development, and community care. Our exceptional members and community partners allow us to take the positive, productive actions we need to keep moving forward.

We take pride in the work we do at the Lafayette Family YMCA, but our volunteers and donors are the true stars of the show. Without their kindness, generosity, and time, we couldn’t provide the programs, scholarships, and assistance we do today.

Volunteers fill necessary roles at the Lafayette Family YMCA. A few ways that our volunteers give back include:

Leading the Board of Directors and committees

Coaching sports and leading educational programs

Providing youth members with opportunities for growth and skill-building

Supporting adults in the community by reaching out with resources

Upholding our Christian values by treating everyone they encounter with respect

Donating generous gifts for the support of our facilities and programs

Franciscan Health

Focused on providing healthcare through Christ’s ministry, Franciscan Health offers health education courses to community members. They strive to cultivate a healthy environment in Greater Lafayette.

Junior Achievement works to enhance the financial knowledge of students around Indiana. With the facility at our Creasy Lane location, they can expand their reach to create a more educated community.
