Ready, Set, Ride with Pedal for a Purpose!
The Lafayette Family YMCA is hosting the inaugural community-wide Pedal for a Purpose event on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at our Creasy Lane location!
Participants will enjoy energetic spin class sessions directed by YMCA staff, community vendors & food trucks, great music, door prizes & giveaways, and so much more—all while raising funds to support local Y programs for those who could otherwise not afford them!
Pedal for a Purpose
While all participants will have a blast during our 45-minute spin sessions and other fun festivities—the event also serves a greater purpose in the community.
Proceeds from Pedal for a Purpose will support financial assistance for youth programs, such as:
- Before & After School Programs
- Safety Around Water
- Licensed Childcare
- Leaders in Training
- Youth Sports
- And More!

Becoming a Lafayette Family YMCA Pedal for a Purpose sponsor not only gives you a unique opportunity to connect with the people across the Greater Lafayette area—it also comes with a number of great brand and community-improvement benefits!
Pedal for a Purpose will be marketed to over 27,000 members, including logo representation on all event t-shirts and other sponsorship material around the facility.
