Learning to swim at the YMCA includes lessons in swimming basics and important water safety skills that every child should know. Join us at the aquatics center to get your kids swimming and having fun!

Our Swim Lessons for Kids

Your child should be confident when he or she is in the water. Our youth swim lessons let kids have fun, stay safe, and master the basics of swimming. And, it's never too late for them to learn how to swim for the first time!

Parent/Child Classes

Parents can enjoy swim lessons with their children ages 6 months to 3 years. In parent/child classes, swimmers learn ways to adjust to the water, safety skills, and fundamental swimming techniques.

Youth Swimming

Swim lessons are available at the Y for kids ages 6-13 hoping to learn and grow as swimmers. Class activities, water sports, and games keep lessons fun while helping kids learn new strokes and skills.

Private Swim Lessons

30-minute private swim lessons are available for any age and any skill level. Your registration includes four 30-minute sessions scheduled individually to fit your busy lifestyle.
